This project is a reminder that luxury lives in the details—and that bold materials, when used thoughtfully, can transform an everyday space into something truly personal. Designing a primary bathroom is always a study in balance—between calm and contrast, function and beauty. In this harborside New Jersey home, 3F Living drew inspiration from the homeowners’ love of luxury and city glamour, reinterpreted to feel perfectly at ease in a relaxed coastal setting.

The space is anchored by a layered tile palette that guides the eye and sets the tone: a bold black-and-white hexagon mosaic behind the double vanity, a custom floor inlay that echoes its rhythm, and large-format porcelain slabs that wrap the walls in understated elegance. Subtle textures and patterns in the shower floor, bench, and niche bring depth and interest, proving that every material choice has a role in shaping a space that is both functional and effortlessly refined.
