Custom Millwork elevates the Living area

A customized wall unit was built and installed by A&R woodworking out of Brooklyn. Everything from books and files to electronic equipment and DVD’s are hidden in this 17-foot unit.

The desk area is equipped with overhead lighting and a hidden space to hold both laptops.

The living room is grounded with a colorful carpet from Room and Board. The sectional sofa sits under a pair of wall sconces and a custom designed mirror. A Bludot storage unit further highlights the accent colors found throughout.

renovated Kitchen feels bright and open

A chalkboard wall leads you in to a completely customized set of white kitchen cabinets. These narrow cabinets make up one side of the galley kitchen. The Caesarstone countertop meshes well with the chalkboard feature wall and adds great contrast to the sky blue textured glass tiles.

An undermount sink, bosch dishwasher and single hole faucet create a clean, open feel to an otherwise narrow space.

The sky blue ribbed glass tile adds depth and movement to the backsplash. The ribbed glass tiles do not require a grout application.

unique Bathroom is bright and modern

The shower wall is accented with pebble tiles and combined with soft beiges to create a spa like ambiance. A four-drawer vanity from décor planet is customized to fit the limitations of the bathroom. Glass shelves were then added for additional display space and storage.

Luxury Modern apartment with a custom personal touch

This striking two bedroom apartment became our team’s latest project when a couple we previously designed a space for was expecting a new baby. In only six weeks we designed, coordinated, and executed a complete gut renovation and new installation from nuts and bolts, to furnishings and hardware.

The space was given a facelift with fresh walls and new hardwood floors. The kitchen and bathroom were fully revamped with updated electrical, lighting, new fixtures and appliances. The kitchen’s calm blue walls and white cabinetry are the perfect extension of the soothing color palette in the central living area. The bathroom embraces light earth tones in a mixture of stone slab tiles and pebbles accented with rich dark wood and brushed chrome accents; resulting in an inviting spa-like atmosphere.

The living room’s fully customized built-in cabinetry utilizes the wall space of the apartment to its maximum. The millwork marries the functional need for all media storage with elegant and clean aesthetics. The light finishes are amplified by the natural sunlight streaming through the windows, resulting in an open and cheerful space to begin their new family.
